PI Day

Saturday, March 14th, is PI Day. It commemorates the uniqueness of the ratio between radius and circumference of a circular object.  PI is 3.1415926535897932384626433832795…… forever.  As PI is calculated, it never repeats.  If you divide 10 by 3, you get 3.3333333… forever.  So we call PI an irrational number, because it’s a number with no solution.  People have become famous memorizing PI out to rediculous lengths.  PI has other properties, but I’m not good at math, the Wiki entry does a much better job of describing it.  happy PI Day
