Sainte Chapelle

On the outside, Sainte Chapelle is an impressive building, but no more so than any other place in Paris. It’s only when you go inside that you realize that you’re in a unique chapel.

That’s just downstairs. I’ll post some pictures from upstairs in a little while. the chapel was undergoing restoration, so the altar was mostly covered with scaffolding and sheets. The stained glass and ceilings were incredible, I’m sure the altar will be beautiful when they’re finished restoring it.
